We got about 3 inches of snow overnight.

People were already out shoveling, but I got out there for the most part before they got to our side of campus. If you can see any part of the sidewalk, it was shoveled earlier. The snow was still coming down, so even where they had already cleared there was about a 1/2 an inch.

So my dorm is a U-shape. The grassy part in the middle is called The Beach.

First look out of the door of my dorm building.

Other side of the Beach

A little better.

Here is our tree and our tire swing.

I kept walking into the main part of campus.

The steps leading down to D.D.Dougherty Hall, our administration building.

And please note the cars to the left. That parking lot is for teachers, and it is a gated lot. The gate doesn't even open for swiping your permit until 8 a.m., and these pictures were taken around 8:45... so that's 45 minutes worth of snow on those cars.

The Quad, a.k.a. Sanford Mall:

covered in snow.

We have this set of statues in the middle of the Quad to show that App State was first and foremost a teacher's college.

Truck in the background was full of people about to shovel again.

A sign of life!

Another shot of Sanford Mall.

Another shot, with same sign of life.

Where we go sledding - in the middle of another u-shaped building, I.G.Greer Hall.

Talking on the phone to mom. mom wanted it. i didn't. But I guess you can see it was still snowing.

Entrance to I.G.Greer Hall.

Crazy person driving. Actually I was just testing how well my new camera took pictures at full zoom.

My dorm!

This is what happened on every step you took (I'm picking up my right foot). About 3 or 4 inches of snow on the ground.

You can see my room, it's slightly hidden by the trees. top floor, find the room with the snowflakes in the window. It's 3 to the left of that.

Campus is waking up. I'm glad I got out early to see the snow before it got all trampled.

Another shot of our tree.

Taken from my dorm room window, through the screen... that's why there's the grid..

If you haven't noticed, I love the tree in the winter, haha.

THE END!
