It is surprising how an amount of mundane activity can focus the mind. I woke up yesterday feeling especially chaotic and demoralised. When I got into the shop in the afternoon, I spent a while rolling up and organising sheets of bubble wrap. It was surprisingly therapeutic. I need to make sure I can work Christmas Eve. It is surprising how an amount of mundane activity can focus the mind.

I find that doing the dishes relaxes me and helps me clear my head. I don't know why. Added bonus of feeling like I have accomplished something when it's done.
