I judged my first speech tournament of the year on Saturday, at ISU. It's odd how I still have trouble developing a rapport with the people I competed against. I never feel more socially inept than when I am in the midst of a gaggle of Speech Communications majors. I got to see the newly engaged Megan Houge, though, and that was fun

I was doing the 6:45am thing a few weeks ago. It was sickening. It was dark when I got to work ... then dark again when I left. :'(

Maybe now that we're on standard time, it'd be light out at that hour, but who cares! I plan on sleeping through it tonight; that's for sure. ;-)
