Completely innaccurate use of Hebrew (please buzz me to correct if you are a native speaker!!)
Disclaimer: Everything belongs to the studio, producers and writers except the words themselves and the order I've put them in. Any characters you do not recognise from the show are original characters with no basis in canon or the real world.
Notes: This was written for
carinascott over on
leveragexchange whose prompts were:
1. Unexpected parenthood from a male member of the team, and how he (and the team) adjust.
2. Meeting the family
3. Coming out to the team
4. Horseback riding
5. Homophobia
This is a 3 Part epic *thing*, based across the five prompts (kinda sliding around 3, as it faces coming out to family, not to the team), still in progress.
Notes Pt2: I will just add that this would have been a fairly simple fic, only I asked my friend: complete this sentence, "It's twenty fourteen, the year of…" expecting hover cars or brain-interface technology or something, and he answered famine. So it got complicated. The way I have dealt with it is ridiculously idealistic, but I have aspirations to be a hippy. ☮
Beta: Huge thanks to FleurLB and Milydo who looked over the Prologue and Part 1 for me and offered some wise advice. Parts 2 and 3 are unbetaed at this point.

Prologue Part 1A Part 1B Summary: Nana needs help looking after her Grandson. Unfortunately, all she's got is a crew of only-semi-retired crooks.
Part 2A Part 2B Part 2C Summary: Eliot's got dreams. Dreams he'd thought he'd grow out of once upon a time. Meanwhile Nate and Sophie are finding their dreams don't match up to reality quite how they expected.
Part 3 Summary: Parker's got dreams. But dreams are the ideal, and life is never quite the way you've always expected it to be. Somehow, it's all going to be okay anyway.
