i for one, never send a message like that. however, i have never had any success with my usual message of "hi, i am dave. you seem like a really cool person and i would love to get to know you." followed a little bit about myself and closing with a question. perhaps "nice tits, lets chat" is the way for me to go......

see those are ones i like getting, and ones i usually always respond to. I also check their profiles right after reading too. The only thing that will generally turn me away from these messages is if they pretty much just copy and pasted their profiles. That to me just suggests you do this so often that you don't particularity care anymore. But that could just be me hehee. It catches my attn faster if they open with a question though. Just to put that out there.

this is why i don't go to bars :P so i don't have to hear these things in person. i'd just end up exploding with laughter (and possible some kind of alcoholic drink which would just be a sad waste of money though amusing to my friends i suppose) at the sheer stupidity and incredulity of them!
