Time for migration

Livejournal's new Terms of Service (which I've had to agree to in order to read about them and post this) are not to my taste. I've been here a long time, and have quite an emotional attachment to it, being a permanent member for many years, but from now on I'll be posting on Dreamwidth instead.
For the meantime I think this LJ will stay open,

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. Wonder if this will be the final straw.

Gosh, it's been nearly 15 years! (First genuine not-backdated entry is 21st June 2002).

It's been funny, cos recently every time anyone mentions Livejournal on Facebook it's met by loads of people saying "Wow, is that still going?" - and the answer may soon be "no", as far as the non-Russian community goes.
