Lol, not content with posting ONE obscure fic this week, I bring something incredibly strange for your eyes! Er, new fandom for me (writing-wise), written on a whim, very short. Comments would be good please? I promise that soon I genuinely will write about meeting Matt Berry, which I know you're all more interested in, anyway.

Here from livein1973. Wonderful fic! I did wonder if anyone would address this one.

Bring me fucking sunshine.

*Excellent* last line!

Thank you so much! gayjunglefever sort of bullied me into doing it, though honestly? It really didn't take much bullying. I do love writing the odd pairings, ha.

Typical that I should be utterly in love with Sam/Gene and write something so obscure as a first offering. :P

Heee, thanks very much!

He's such an interesting character to analyse because, though he's our protagonist, there is the constant possibility that he might be utterly insane. ;D

HEE, fanks - I love writing from the perspective of the villain or generally lesser-known person.

It's probably partially a wimpy characterisation thing of, like, less people will know if I get it totally off - but in some ways, the bad guys are just ALWAYS the most interesting. Trying to get that self-image without it being too panto, you know?

Last line? Killed me dead. I can hear him saying it disturbingly clearly in my mindtank.

Overall? Totally wonderful, love your perspective on Sam here! Fabbytastic.

Oooh, Tony Crane POV. Even though he is a bad guy (who will and possibly already has, killed people), he was genuinely baffled and then put away for being insane when he wasn't.

It was crushingly disappointing to realise that spark was insanity.

I think that's probably my favourite line because Crane and Sam have a connection that's not quite right because Crane doesn't yet know why it exists.
