What an unproductive day. Ate lunch and tanned and.... poked around on last.fm for a long while. I just watched Mysterious Skin. I think that's about the most fucked up movie I've seen in a while. Well, Spun's fucked up, but... I dunno. Mysterious Skin reminded me of American History X, except with sex/rape/pedophilia instead of hate crimes. I liked it though, and it ended with a Sigur Ros song. Heh ( Read more... )

I just watched Spun. I'd seen it once before, at about 3AM on a Thursday night in February, tired from work and probably having a contact buzz from Hunter smoking beside me. It's such an amazing movie, very raw and sad. It's about crystal meth, and how it affects the lives of this group of people, and how it connects them all. I cried a lot ( Read more... )
