The girls I babysit for always tell me that I look like
. Anyway, Mrs.W called me last week and asked me to sit for Lauren, Hailey, and their two friends - Lauren and Anna. So there were three Laurens in the group; it got pretty interesting. We had a great girly-sleepover time. We ate dinner, watched Ladder 49, I cried my eyes out because that movie is so sad, I did all of their hair, we played hide and seek, told scary stories (that weren't actually scary for me), and then I put them to bed. It was a blast! Then the W's came home and we talked for a LONG time about stuff and it was really good because I really needed to talk to someone for a little bit.
Today I went to work for a few hours, went to the bank, and came home and did a bunch of work and talked to my Mom trying to figure out my life. I'm going to meet with my guidance counselor sometime this week before Friday when I have lunch with my Mom. She's pretty much amazing. So is my Dad; he called me into his office and talked to me for awhile about really important stuff and basically told me how proud him and mom are of me and how he and mom chose to put me into christian schools even though I had to trade in softball because of it. He said I could have been pro or something, but he would never trade my character in for the chance to have his daughter on ESPN. I'm glad they are behind me on that, I always felt guilty for not following my softball dream. It was just super encouraging to talk to him today - I love my parents so much - they are the best ever.
I'm looking into Nursing schools in Virginia and Florida. We're looking into the following:
- George Mason University (both of my parents graduated from there and my godfather is on the board of directors)
- James Madison University (my bffs and cousin go there)
- Liberty University (everyone and their mother goes there)
- Marymount University (its in Arlinton, VA)
- NOVA (Mom went there and then I could go to GMU - just as a backup)
- University of Central Florida (Taylor Tillman goes there, so does Jared Timmons, though! And Mickey Mouse is nearby)
- Jacksonville University (I wouldn't have to move)
- Florida State University (not my favorite option, but its not too far away)
Hopefully one of those is where God wants me. If not, I have no idea what to do. I'm sort of feeling like Moses and his 40 year wandering right now. Only in that case I have about 38.5 years left; if I'm Moses, I mean. Those neon sings sure would be helpful, right Steph? Romans 8:28. Romans 8:28. Romans 8:28.
The End.
p.s. - i promise i'll do a birthday update sometime.
xoxo.
