Ten-cent Plague was a pretty good read, I did a research paper on the topic and it was an amazing resource for it. What are the greatest hits of your list, perhaps a top 5?

Harro! That's a pretty amazing effort in this day and age. Can't remember the last time I picked up a book and took the time to even read a few chapters. This post has inspired me to start reading again! Thanks :)
