It has stopped raining here. It wasn't that bad except for the arks that kept floating by.:) Actually it didn't affect us that much though many people did have a lot of damage to their homes. This is the ho hum news. Now for the really really good stuff ( Read more... )

The trip is nicely open ended so we can go any time in the next seven years. We plan to go next year sometime and stay for the week at the resort then pay our own way for another couple of weeks somewhere else, while we are there. The big thing is that it is a trip for TWO and there are three of us. If we go during school time Valerie will have to stay and maybe go somewhere else later. If she comes we will have to pay her way. She isn't very happy right now. Her bunny died on the weekend. He was quite old. We got him when Valerie was a little kid in grade 2 and she has been looking after him ever since. It's quite sad.
