So, I took a leap and enrolled in a "foundations of teaching" class and I've begun classroom observation in a 2nd grade level. I already know that I would not survive teaching elementary school - children are fascinating creatures but the paths of conversation are kinda limited. - I've known for a while that I've fallen into my generation's fallacy that lifestyle trumps autonomy. The more I think on it, the more I realize it should have been the other way around. The hardest part about explaining the difference between "alone" and "lonely" is that awkward moment when someone asks "Why?"
