The good thing about being retired is that you can go out for the day whenever you feel like it. No need to wait for the weekend when everyone else is out and about and the roads are congested with traffic.

What a beautiful place to hike. I know how much you enjoyed yourself and am envious of your day spent there. Even the sheep must have been a natural, calmng distaction.

Mary loves the heat and dryness of Spain. If she had her way then I think she would want to live there to be with Steve, Jo and the grandchildren. But when I go walking in England (or Scotland) I realise that I could never emigrate. I would so miss the greenery and soft rounded hills.
