How sad it is to be forgotten.. not to have an traces of your existence anywhere but the hearts of those who one day will pass away and you will be forgotten... your name will be engraved on a tombstone with strangers passing by, glancing at it and wondering why you died so young... who is burried next to you.. why your headstone is small, cracked

First of all I can sadly say I know how you feel cause I have had the same feelings before. Most of my Dads family died before i was old enough to remember any of them and i often depressed me that I never knew the people that my family talked about so lovingly and adoringly. I now realize though that no one is reall ever forgoten. Well actually in the grand scheme of things it really dosent matter. Now I dont know where you stand with God but I will just share with you my thoughts. In the end when Jesus comes back all the dead in Christ will rise and be judged and go to heaven and those who chose to reject Christ will be doomed to eternal life in hell. So what i am getting at is that if you and you realitives are of Christ A.K.A saved by his grace, you will all meet up in heaven one day. And besides we aren't in this world to make a legacy we are here to live a life and to work for our Lord Jesus Christ. Now i'm sorry if I may have offended you but I just wanted to let you know that you weren't the only one who felt this way and

thank you:) and yes we come from a Catholic family so everyone has been raised to think that way. I believe that one day we will all meet.. it's just hard sometimes when u don't know or remember certain ppl and you want to learn more about your roots.. you want to dig deeper than what your memory allows you to remember...
