Hey Lindz...Work was insane this week. For starters, I had one student who threw herself on the ground in front of the chalkboard, kicked the chalk and markers to the ground, and then when I told her to get up, ran around the classroom shoving everyone's books, binders, and papers off of their desks, screaming at the top of her lungs. Disturbed individual, I tell you, disturbed. Then I have special ed students who don't return after lunch, and run the halls for the rest of the day, which makes me look really bad. Also, my favorite kindergarten student, Fernando, was taken away by Child Protective Services because his mom beat him again. I miss him a lot and wish they would have let me become his foster mother before throwing him into the worst foster care system in the U.S. And then of course their is Tsunami, and I want to adopt all of those children, too. When will all this craziness end? I think I need a good Hanson concert to calm my nerves
