Haven't found any problems yet. Works great. I'll let you know if I have anything productive to say.

I like it very much, but I'm wondering if there's a way to set the default entry security to Friends Only or Private by default?

I think you can do this from a command line on LJ. Search the FAQ there about seting security levels. Then by default all entries can be set at a level.

Not sure what the reason is but it isn't allowing me to post where people can comment on my journal. Its set to public and my features in Lj allow me to have people comment but using lochjournal it comes up without comments. If i use it straight from live journal posting it allows comments. Any help with that please??? worddc@hotmail.com

I'm having the same problem.

I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to set it so that it allows comments by default.

In the meantime, go to 'Options' when you're making a post. 'Disallow Comments' will have a check by it. Click to uncheck it. You'll have to do this every time you post. *sigh*

me three on the 'disallow comments' bug... I found some options files in one of LochJ's subdirectories, but determining which option it is (if even the program is reading that option), is tough.

me 4 on the disallow comments thing. There's gotta be a way to set allow comments to default.

I'm perplexed as to why it disallows comments as the default given that the majority want to allow comments. Wouldn't it make sense to be the other way around?

Or is this a genuine bug?

I like the new version too.. but honestly, I like the older version better. The new version seems to be a little too much glitz. But on the whole, I still prefer Lochjournal over the other LJ editing clients.

Great release, the -only- thing missing is support for Windows Media Player instead of WinAmp!

This version is the first client version I've loaded. I wondered why it wasn't detecting the music in Windows Media Player, RealPlayer or iTunes. That explains it.
