[Hey there, Vatheon! Time for a homely little broadcast of a cozy looking ...  stable? Since when did Vatheon have horses? Must be new. The screen pans slowly, revealing a vast open field, bordered by a rickety white fence. Sora's voice speaks off screen:]

Hey guys- check out what showed up at Nostalgia Nook!

[And then woa! Fluffy yellow feathers

[He's still holding back a laugh. Yuri's known to be helpful--unless the dilemma is actually amusing him.]

[Sora looks up. Blinks.] Oh no, I'll be okay. I just need to be a more firm with this guy...

[Sora plants his feet! He won't be dragged along anymore. He is using his leadership skills, see? Until the Chocobo starts walking again and Sora finds himself stumbling backwards a few steps. Woa, okay fine he's pretty much at the mercy of this thing.]

... Maybe just a little help?

[Action]

... I asked if you did, didn't say I'd be the one giving it.

[Well, Yuri has every intention to, he's just messing with the boy. Now that he thinks about it though, Yuri has uh... experience talking to a dog, but not a giant fluffy bird. Oh well, he's trying anyway. Taking some cautious steps, he's trying to get a feel for the giant chicken's personality first.]

[Action]

[Well, Yuri, Sora totally falls for it.]

You mean you're just gonna leave me here?

[The Chocobo turns its head questionably in Yuri's direction. It eyes him with a tilt of its head. He doesn't seem afraid or on edge at the slow approach. Not yet anyway.]

[Action]

Yep.

[Except not really. Yuri's pretty close now, and as he raises up his hand towards its head, he hopes that the Chocobo won't become alarmed. ... A few seconds' time will tell if it is a futile hope.]

[Action]

[The Chocobo drops Sora's hood and peers cautiously at Yuri's hand. It leans forward and lightly nips the very end of his fingers... and then just shifts in place. It doesn't seem to mind touching after that.]

[Sora just watches the entire exchange.... Wow. If he'd known that's all it took, he would've done it sooner!]

[Action]

[A small, smug smirk makes its way across Yuri's face, and he turns to Sora, jokingly asking:]

You think these things would taste any good?

[Action]

[He turns to Yuri in surprise. Despite the hassling, he's still worried about the chocobo in question.]

Hold on a sec- They're not for eating!

[Action]

[Well someone's having a hard time catching Yuri's jokes. He's going to have fun messing around with him.]

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Actually, they look better for stuffing pillows.

[Action]

And they're not for stuffing pillows either!

They're for raising! And riding too! I think you got the wrong idea.

[Action]

... These things? I dunno, they seem kind of wimpy.

[But, wimpy or not, he sure doesn't mind ruffling its soft feathers.]

Actually, they're pretty strong! Some of these guys are even racing Chocobos!

[Yuri you got a way with birds /shot. The Chocobo whistles quietly, pleased at the touch.]

[/takes it as a compliment either way. The feathers were nice, but it makes him miss Repede more, so he briefly stops, despite the Chocobo's possible objections.]

Really now? I wonder how fast this one would go. [Facing the Chocobo again, he cracks a smile and asks almost tauntingly.] So are you really as awesome as the kid says?

[A small pause.]

The keeper at the shops says he's got a couple of racing Chocobos in the stable, if you catch my drift.
