You can form families, and have families, and care about people. And maybe wanting to keep your precious people is stupid but I have been called stupid before and for this I am willing to be called it again.
Because if people want their family, if that is their dream, there is nothing wrong with that. And if someone works for that dream, there is nothing wrong with that either. Dreams mean a great deal.
I do not know much of words, but I do not think it wise to equate one's goals with the random imaginings that our brains generate while we sleep. Our birth dreams may be difficult to interpret, but I believe they have more truth to them, though they may show the past rather than the future.
I hold no illusions that this place is normal. I have goals, and I will gladly risk myself for them.
I see you are unfamiliar with figurative language, Brianna. Dreams and goals are often considered the same thing. Likewise, dreams are often naught but our unconscious surfacing whilst our defenses are done. Very freudian.
I am familiar with it. I simply have little use for it. A dream is an illusion created by the unconscious mind, an impossibility. You might even say that Edensphere resembles a dream more than anything we could achieve.
Civilizations built on dreams? Piece by piece, block by block. A lot like the pyramids, eh?
Pyramids were also built on the back-breaking work of busy little people buzzing around as instructed. We had some of that not long ago, didn't we? Not the same kind of work, not really, but oh. The obedience was there.
Squashed or replaced like the toys a brat's grown tired of. All the same to some grand high muckity muck! But new little dolls fell flat and that's worth a laugh.

To learn and spread knowledge.

How do you intend to accomplish this?

Obedience is what every efficient leader dictator looks for.

I had the notion the efficient ones achieved it.

Looks, not has. HE is a mockery of a leader.

[Dreams of a building a better civilisation though? That seems naggingly familiar to her]
