i only say holy shit as i had never heard of this band before and just stumbled onto this on youtube the other day.... and assume the everyone is operating with this as their starting point. this, of course, may or may not be true for you, too.

I've only liked their track "tales of girls and boys and marsupials" for far...

but I've got a Joy Division t-shirt
and the Wombats' song is all that funnier knowing what they are talking about

I went and listened to some Joy Division to see what they're like after hearing The Wombats' song about them. Joy Division doesn't sound very happy music like to me. I suppose that is the irony?
