Home Made Laundry Detergent

A few people have asked me to post the recipe for the DIY laundry detergent I made recently.

So far, it's gotten my clothes and linens quite nice and clean. I gave some to corbet , and she has apparently had equally good results using it.

Yep, I love the stuff. =)

What kind of bar soap did you use? When I eventually run out and make my own I'll use the same, in hopes of getting the same liquid consistency yours had.

Is your washing machine a front loader? I'm curious about how it works in one.

The washer in my building is a front loader. Works just fine in there. I just use the cap from my empty Seventh Generation HE detergent to measure out my home-made stuff.
