My life is now officially complete and I can die a happy man. I had dinner last night with two living legends, Donald Richie and Dr. Edward Seidensticker. So... dude. How long are you gonna be in Sendai? And whereabouts are you staying? If you won't be there long, maybe I could pop down for an evening tonight or tomorrow night.

I only had one night in Sendai... I'm back in Tokyo now and leaving tomorrow for school. It's a bloody shame I didn't get to see you, but I saw some friends in Sendai who remember you and want to see you. Where are you again? Anyway I'll be back in a few months. Take it easy man, and represent for me :)

Ack! Well I'm in Nakaniida, which is this little town about 35km north of Sendai station. Takes about an hour to get into the city, because of traffic, but it's perfectly doable. Actually much faster on a motorbike because you can slip through traffic easier.
