So girl-roommate and girl-ex-roommate went to get pierced. I tagged along for moral support and to get something impulsive done. So I got my ears pierced. I always wanted a double-industrial, but I ended up backing out after reading that it takes up to a year to heal. I decided on getting two piercings in my left lobe, a single piercing in my right lobe, and a two-point spiral in my right cartilage. They didn't have any more two-point spirals in stock though -- which I'm okay with, because it's very possible I would have chickened out before or halfway through it anyway. I might go back for the spiral, but honestly, I sort of like them how they are.
So I got all the lobes done in fourteen gauge. I've got hoops in right now, but I'll probably switch them out when the healing is done. This was my first (second and third) piercing, so it was an interesting experience. I'm glad I did it for that reason alone, honestly. Though I do like how they look right now. For the record, I got these done by Penelope at Lucky's in Northampton. She was a lot of fun.
You can't really see them head-on due to the chinstrap. But I like them.
