I finally got (some) of my wisdom teeth out. I got the bottom two out because I couldn't afford getting all four out; due to not having insurance. One of them was bothering me, and the other was crushing my second molar; so they couldn't really wait. The procedure was pretty simple. I got the general anthesthetic, so I was unconcious. The laughing

Yeah, that is weirdly specific. I think that "fag" online, especially in LOL, really has about as much actual connection to the idea of homosexuality as does your average lawnmower but is just sort of used as generic filler insult.

That said I am all for inventing new, creative, and hopefully confusing online insults, preferably of the variety that sound vaguely Victorian.

Hope your sockets are healing well! Worried about the 'torrent of blood' comment- be careful not to get dry socket, or you'll be in a world of pain.

Gayity gay comments: part of me hopes that the word has been taken back so far as to have completely lost it's meaning, like 'queer' being a textbook term. But then there's still truckloads of homophobes out there. I'd say I'm on the fence about the subject, but I realized the innuendo...

Hey, you know, I don't think you're being uptight or anything. Better to let everybody know where the offensive line is before they get too used to doing it.

I appreciate it, and while I'm not usually all over the "gay-train" insults anyway, I'll certainly try to be more conscious of it than I have been.
