Petra was coming back to Brazil

Petra wasn't the only one coming back to Brazil.

But the difference (okay, one of many differences) was that Envy was already here, and without much fanfare. She'd meant to show up sooner, too, after the holidays at her parents' place in Montreal, but, well. Plans were fickle things.

But she was here now. What little she'd brought with her (it wasn't as if she planned to stay indefinitely) had been dropped off at the duplex that had apparently never stopped being hers, and now she was taking a walk.

Just letting Peter know she'd arrived would have been boring.

And Peter might have seen her coming that way, as he didn't do now-- he caught sight of a brief glimpse of blonde hair in the distance, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

He stuck his hands in his pockets and looked up at the sky, instead.

Now, as far as most people knew, Envy didn't have much in the way of a playful side. And maybe this didn't even count, and was just another show of her more calculative ways... But having spotted Peter (well, he hadn't been at his duplex, so she'd been keeping an eye out for him out here, anyway), she decided to change course, and circle wide around him, unseen.

It was kind of a predatory move, but then again, this was Envy. It was to be expected that she should stalk sometimes.

Alas, poor Peter. He had many virtues, but a soldier-like grasp on his surroundings wasn't one of them.

He let out a sigh, bringing his attention back down to earth.

And resumed his trek towards the large domestic building, up ahead.
