GABIT and my wonderful friends..

I seem to be the only one of the Ducks who has not posted yet from GABIT so here goes..it may be long, short, happy sad so be warned!!

I had been looking forward to this for so long..it was one of the things that kept me sane whilst coping with my miscarriage and gave me something to look forward too.
The excitment began when Diane arrived on Thurs

Well, I wouldn't consider any of my posts being about GABIT :)On a slightly more serious note:
It was really nice meeting you, even more so because I didn't know anything about you before the event, yet I learnt a lot during the few short talks we had and by observing you (in a non-stalkerish way of course *g*). You were a bit quiet / subdued after the photo shoot and I didn't know why then. It was wonderful to see you regain your happiness later on though and being excited and having fun. Thanks for sharing a part of something so very personal with me (whom you didn't know either) and the rest of the ducks. *looks up at icon* And Ammanda did have teary eyes in the pic but it still turned out great, didn't it :) She is indeed wonderful and compassionate :D

I think we all took away something about that weekend. I know i can't compare to what you went through! But just the hug she gave me before the photo, made me feel so much better. If i had lost my job a few weeks before. I doubt i would have been able to go :( And i'm so glad i did, because you were all just amazing to be with *massive hugs*

you guys are all so amazing..thanks for the support and the friendship there are tears in the eyes again (oh man!)
i have to go to work today which sucks considering where i was this time last week..end of the first Q&A session!
