And really, he can't be blamed, the way heated water eases the stress on his muscles and joints caused by his limbs making it possible for him to relax. It's calming too, making his usual demeanor soften, and allowing him to reflect on the better parts of his day, rather than

[Rarely did he ever run late and if he did, it was usually Edward's fault. Like now, he was stuck making sure all their clothes and personal belongings were safely tucked away for the duration of their stay in the baths.]

[He yells out loud enough for Ed to hear, but hopefully, not to draw much attention for anyone else who might have been out there as well. Once, everything was secure, he gives his towel a slight tug up his hip as he comes rushing towards the baths. Just as eager to get into the hot water and relax, he hastily slips into the water, towel peeling off his waist at the very last second. He folds it neatly and sets it aside before he sinks all the way down to his mouth. Bubbles form as a content sigh escapes his lips.]

[ Grinning, though the smile is more a leer than anything else, Ed reaches out for his brother as soon as the other boy enters the water. He gives Al a ruffle of his hair before slowly approaching, lowering himself to the same level so that he can be eye to eye with Al, still grinning a bit.

The steam of the heated water has brought a bit of a flush to his cheeks, and his hair is floating in the water, but his eyes are on Al's. ]

[He says something, undoubtedly it has to do with the fact that Ed dropped his clothes and ran off to the baths and left him behind to clean up. It's lost to the water and by the time Alphonse lifts his mouth above the water he's done speaking. It's hard to remain annoyed at Edward for multiple reasons, the biggest being he's used to caring for their stuff, it's habit. That doesn't mean that Ed's going to be left unpunished, without warning he reaches out using the underside of his palm to push Edward down and beneath the surface of the water fully for at least a good few seconds.]

[ Al's strength, always greater than his own, forces him under the water where he flails, almost swallowing the bath water down. He has to fight to break the surface, flailing and sputtering with gold hair in his eyes and indignation clear in his features. ]
