I seem to recall one sunny afternoon many moons ago when you and I were driving back from Chapel Hill to barely make it in time for Chamber Choir. I believe the two of us were rocking out to Sweet Child O' Mine, and I think you should definitely sing that for your audition. :)

It doesn't look like you'd be stuck out in a cappella land (usually they'll mention it) so it seems as if whoever's holding the audition will probably be able to provide some modest accompaniment for whatever you bring in.

The Bach would probably be good, especially if you're comfortable with it. Other things to consider are songs that you know through and through that can still show off your voice--the National Anthem's a good pick (especially if you just jump to the end) as are hymns like "Amazing Grace." If you're familiar with either the Schubert or the Bach/Gounod "Ave Maria" those would work very well too.

Good luck and tell us how it goes!!
