We just let her go, I just let her go. Since when did letting kids do stuff that dangerous turn acceptable? Could have gotten herself killed, and everyone just let her because it was what she wanted to do. That shouldn't be how this works, we should have gone after her somehow. Something's up. I know we couldn't ask for help, but it didn't stop some people from worrying about us. Even then, I know I was worried about the others. I still am for everyone back home.

It's not that different, if you stop to think about it. Didn't you just run off too? If it hadn't been for the Doctor, you would have died. I was still fourteen when we started with the armed interventions. Is that still acceptable, despite how smart I may be?
