Well, that was the most embarrassed I've ever been buying a book. The clerk looked like he wasn't sure whether to call the police or just throw me out of the store. From what I can tell, the vampire romance thing tends to go in cycles. Can't say I ever saw the appeal myself though, really.

I suppose there's got to be a reason that Dracula's remained a classic for centuries, but I can't really see the appeal of vampire romance either. I mean...vampires, really? Are we talking about the same horror-movie-staple monsters, here?
