The Con That Was Fucked From the Beginning
ok, so, I pretty much stole money from my dad's tax return just to MAKE it to this con, and as I'm sure everyone knows Jared had to cancel, which, while being a bummer, no one can blame him for because hello, he's filming the FINALE
I didn't even bother going on Fri, cus about the only thing going on was the cocktail party, which I couldn't afford, and a concert to a local band I wasn't really interested in
so anyways, me and fayirishgirl aka Stephanie get there early Saturday morning, get our tickets and stuff, it's cool, we get to Jim's panel, who was amazing, as always...and as Dizzy's doing his intro he informs us...
Misha couldn't make
yeah, it sucked, but like Jared he was filming the finale and the producers basically told him, you either DON'T go, or we have to shut down production, because the time wouldn't work out trying to get flights so *sigh* bummer...there was brief talk about having a sort of phone conference, but I guess that didn't work out
anyways Jim = win...duh...Julie is really sweet, I may hate her character with a VENGEANCE, but she is a sweetheart
I brought the cover from my My Big Break DVD and had Chad to sign it, he thought it was so cool and because he's a SWEETHEART *smishes him* he signed the two lil cards he had for me WITHOUT ASKING *smishes him again cus he's THAT cute*
Steph and me we're killing some time and went down to the in-hotel restaurant for some drinks, we ordered sangria at first and then like halfway thru my glass I got an evil plan >:D so when the bartender came back to ask if we wanted a refill (he was AWESOME BTW) I was like...do you know how to make a purple nurple? :D
which he didn't, so I helpfully supplied the recipe haha and he went to the other end of the bar and started mixing it up...there was a couple other fangirls at the other end and I like, hear them off to the side ask him what it was he was making and he's like 'I don't know, something they wanted called a purple nurple?' and me and Steph whipped our heads to the side and their FACES hahaha it was hysterical!!! we ALL BUSTED out laughing and the poor bartender was like 'am I missing something? is this in the show?' and we were all like 'YEAH!' haha and he's like 'great, I'm in the middle of inside jokes I don't even get!' lol
the recipe I gave him was enough for like 4 shots, but apparently he like quadrupled it in his head or something haha
the other girls actually bought our round lol so I was like 'alright, then we're buying YOU purple nurples!' lol it was really cool, wish I would have gotten their names *waves to them if they're out there*
Jason was cute as hell in his panel of course :D I actually bought a CD for Steph because she hadn't heard him and I was like OMG I'M BUYING YOU A FRIGGIN CD SO YOU CAN HEAR IT lol and I got his new CD which I didn't even know he had! lol way to make me bankrupt dude!
and Gabe was hysterical and was telling this story about his buddy who he was having a discussion with about super powers and he was like 'dude mind control's the best' and apparently his friend disagreed and said that teleportation was better because you could teleport into a bank and take the money and teleport out, and Gabe was like 'dude! you could just TALK people into giving you the money and you wouldn't be breaking laws!' to which he friend immaturely replied 'we'll if you're in a crashing plane you can teleport out'....some fangirl helpfully offered 'if you can teleport what are you doing in a plane?' AND GABE FREAKED OUT he actually yanked out his phone and CALLED his friend lol unfortunately he didn't answer *fail* but Gabe left him a HILARIOUS voicemail and was like COUNTERPOINT BITCH haha

I had to take Steph home so I went to Jason's concert by myself but jesushell...seriously EVERY time I see him play he just like...KILLS ME...he is so made of WIN YA'LL like, I've heard his shit a gagillion times (obviously) and I listen to him all the time but like, when he plays in person I'm ALWAYS left in like a shivering mess of goop, it's so not cool *le sigh*
Sunday morning was weird, the schedule was obviously JACKED since Sunday HAD been structured around Misha, so we like, just killed time until some semblance of a line formed for photo ops, I had bought one with Misha and one with Chad, OBVIOUSLY I only got the Chad one, and I was in Steph's pic with him too 'cus she asked me (I told her to scan it and send it to me, so I'll add that when she does)
and then it was more time killing, Jim actually did a second panel, which was as fun as the first, the man is just *sigh* I friggin heart him lol
and then we went back down to the bar to have purple nurples again :D unfortunately the bartender we had the day before had like a later shift or something *sadfaces*
and then Chad's panel and guh, I love him, he is so adorable and joking around with Gabe and shit, apparently earlier in the day he was goofing off in the photo ops and like, jumped behind some people or something and broke Froggy's like stand or something (Froggy's the photographer FYI) and about halfway thru the panel (I didn't notice right away) Froggy came in and was like, standing off to the side and after awhile he's like 'I got a question' and was like 'are you gonna pay for my shit you broke?' and everybody kinda froze cus he looked PISSED and I don't think if anyone knew he was joking or not, and Chad was like 'I told you we'd settle this, are you seriously butting into the Q/A?' and Froggy got pissy and said something (I couldn't hear from where I was sitting) about Chad sucking in The Fast and the Furious and I'm not even kidding dudes Chad LAUNCHED himself off the stage and ATTACKED Froggy!!!
all of a sudden like Kenny and Voni and Dizzy and security and everybody was like descending on them and they were like ON THE GROUND!!! and like were pushed through the doors! everybody was just in shock and couldn't friggin believe it!! and Dizzy comes back in and is like SHAKING and is like 'this is the last thing we needed'
and everybody was just still in shock and then THE BASTARDS COME BACK IN AND ARE LIKE 'WE GOT YOU!' AHHHHHHHHHH seriously!!! apparently EVERYONE was in on it! and it was HILARIOUS cus Chad had just been saying how he didn't have any good prank stories, it was like all the questions people were asking just like PLAYED INTO IT UGHHHH it was so ridiculous, I AM STILL SHAKING and it's like 2 HOURS LATER
if it had been real Froggy would have been screwed cus he would have had a mob of angry fangirls on his ass! seriously, if they had waited any longer than they did to come back inside I think they would have had a sea of fangirls wielding chairs, Froggy would've been leaving in an AMBULANCE haha lol
Kenny said he had someone record the whole thing and he'd put it up online *can't wait for that!* Dizzy was saying when they we're mock fighting/pushing them out the door that like Chad's pants started falling down lol and he was making to grab for him and was like 'annnd, there's Chad's ass, back away now' LMAO and I guess they had tried to get Jason to do it cus they wanted someone you would like NEVER expect to get pissed but every time Jason tried to act mad Dizzy just wanted to hug him HAHAHAHA
but JESUS that is like CON LEGEND man, there is NEVER gonna be another con or con ending like that ever again -- CREATION WHO?! -- I wish I could see Jensen and Jared's reactions cus they're never gonna be able to prank us like that again haha they think they're the prank masters but DUDES CHAD JUST PRANKED AN ENTIRE CONVENTION TAKE THAT BIZATCHES!!! HAHAHAHA
