Heavy Metal Thunder
I'm sure at least some of you have read the amazing Smoke and Lightning : Heavy Metal Thunder and it's sequel Smoke and Lightning : Born to Be Wild
if you haven't then you totally should *nods* it's an AMAZING AU-RPS series where Jared is older and rough around the edges, Jensen is somewhat sheltered and taken in, Jeff is the surrogate father to them both and there's much drama and smexing and overall awesomeness...and oh yeah, did I mention the entire fic-load of sweetass-melt-your-panties MOTORCYCLES and TATS? oh yeah baby *grins* haha
anyways the awesome authors bloody_adorable and eviltwin had a contest over at arealwildchild and now that it's all over I can post my drawings here for the rest of you to see :)
I've been around cars my whole life, and while I've always had an appreciation for bikes I never really got into them until my brother had to go and buy a Buell...and while I still don't know much about them, damn I like them haha...seriously, I've already got the one I want picked out for when I win the lotto ;)
I've never drawn motorcycles before either, cars are much easier, all the messy internal guts are covered by smooth hoods and fenders so...these took some work
Jared's sport bike is so not my style, I go for the Harleys, and Jensen's Shadow Spirit is a Honda too, but the look is more my style, and definitely my favorite of the two drawings
3/3/10: new fanart of Jensen's new bike from the beginning of the third novel, City of Angels!
ETA: I thought this went without saying but apparently not...ASK ME BEFORE YOU USE THEM...more than likely I'll say yes but I'D LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IT
