Author's Note/Preface: Alright, this story requires a pretty lengthy A/N. And some, if not all of the chapters will have their own as well. But PLEASE read the A/N!!
Casey grabbed ahold of me when Sin City aired and would NOT let me go. This story stewed and simmered and burned me inside out for a couple weeks after that. I fished for hints about how people would recieve such a pairing and idea, and sadly...got nothing. So I did something I've never done before. I did the whole thing solo. NO ONE heard any details about this at all. The plot line, the characters, even the soundtrack has been kept under lock and key...with guard dogs.
(Teresa, who was the sole person to help me work through it, and Dee, because she wasn't around to have the chance to help me, were the only ones who knew anything)
And I'm not kidding when I say this fic ATE ME ALIVE. I have never put so much into a story before, save my Highway to Hell series. I did research and as you will see, a soundtrack (which made itself be known before I had even started writing) I even typed out an honest to god outline. I've never made an outline for anything, not even for school projects that required them. I even wrote the ending before anything else, which is something I've NEVER done and am still not sure how this one managed to make me do it.
This story took on a life of it's own so please, for the LOVE OF GOD, leave feedback. I don't care if it's to say you love it, or to say you hate it and don't think this would, could or should ever happen in the SN universe. And PLEASE don't let the pairing throw you off. I would LOVE to hear what people think, please give it a chance and don't not read it based on that alone.
I'm putting all this up BEFORE the story, so hopefully you will download and listen to it when you read. Some songs fit specific scenes in my head. Some songs I felt just fit the story in general or the relationships of the characters.
