I’m blaiming Liz for this one, she pointed me towards Garth’s concert he did in LA a week or two ago, and Garth is literally my first love, so then I got into a Garth kick. Which, I’m pretty damn close to having everything he’s ever done, and while listening through my monster Garth playlist, realized a lot of them can fit with Supernatural. So hence, the fanmix was born.
I know country isn’t a lot of people’s ‘thing’ but oh well.
And because I am such a loser, I happened to notice that Garth’s birthday was today, Feb 7, so I was like oo! I’ll post it then! lol

More Than a Memory
’Cause when you’re talking out loud and nobody's there
You look like hell and you just don't care
Drinking more than you've ever drank
Sinking down lower than you've ever sank
When you find yourself falling down upon your knees
Praying to God, begging him please
That's when she's
More than a memory
The Night I Called the Old Man Out
Years of my frustration
Had led me to this night
Now he'll pay for all the times that he's been right
He said, "Son it's gonna hurt me more than it hurts you"
But somehow I couldn't help but have my doubts
'Cause I'd seen my older brothers crawl back in the house
Each time they called the old man out
It Don't Matter to the Sun
It ain't gonna stop the world
If you walk out that door
This old world will just keep on turning 'round, turning 'round
Like it did the day before
'Cause see to them it makes no difference (ohh)
They just keeps on keepin' time
'Cause it ain't gonna stop the world (Oh baby)
But it'll be the end of mine
A Friend to Me
You can be so stubborn
There’s times I think you just like to fight
And I hope and pray
I live to see a day
When you say I might be right
And there’s times I’d rather kill you
Than listen to your honesty
But you’ve always been a friend to me
American Honky-Tonk Bar Association
It represents the hardhat
Gun rack, achin'-back
Over taxed, flag-wavin', fun-lovin' crowd
Their heart is in the music
And they love to play it loud
There's no forms or no applications
There's no red tape administrations
It's the American Honky-Tonk Bar Association
Cowboy Cadillac
*”Cause come on, the Impala deserves her own song ;)*
If it’s a mountain
She can crawl it
If it’s hay
Then she can haul it
She’s the last one to call it a day
Every cowboy loves her
Lord, they all dream of her
Oh brother, don’t they all react
At the end of the evening
When they see me leaving
With my cowboy cadillac
Against the Grain
Well, I have been accused
Of makin’ my own rules
There must be rebel blood
Just a-runnin’ through my veins
But I ain’t no hypocrite
What you see is what you get
And that’s the only way I know
To play the game
I'd Rather Have Nothing
I've never been good at keeping directions
And I believe schedules are one of life's worst infections
And I gotta be free
'Cause I'd rather nothing
Than a whole lot of something I don't need
I'd rather have nothing
Than a whole lot of something
That don't fit the life that I lead
Pushing Up Daisies
My mother died but somehow she keeps living
She'll never cease to amaze me
Now Dad turns his back on each day that he's given
Because he'd rather be pushing up daisies
There's two dates in time
That they'll carve on your stone
And everyone knows what they mean
What's more important
Is the time that is known
In that little dash there in between
That little dash there in between
(There in between)
The Change
I hear them saying you'll never change things
And no matter what you do it's still the same thing
But it's not the world that I am changing
I do this so this world we know
Never changes me
What I do is so
This world will know
That it will not change me
Face to Face
And your gentle hand was finally clenched in rage
You were face to face
Face to face with the devil that you've been dreadin'
Eye to eye finally has arrived
But bad as it was, well now brother wasn't it better
Dealin' with him face to face
Do What You Gotta Do
Well, they'll call you a hero or a traitor
But you'll find out that, sooner or later
Nobody in this world is gonna do it for you
Do what you gotta do
There ain't nobody in this world
That's gonna do it for you
Do what you gotta do
Why Ain't I Running
*Okay, so this one’s a little AU, but I like Lisa better than Cassie*
Why ain't I running, why ain't I gone
How does she hold me, without holding on
In love or a fight, she's stronger than strong
Something's not right if there ain't nothing wrong
It's got me wondering, why ain't I running
Why ain't I gone
Which One of Them
*Again, little AU, I actually wanted a John pic for this one, but he doesn’t have that many to choose from*
So tell me which one of them will be you tonight
Oh which one will hold me in your arms so tight
I've forgotten what's wrong, given up on what's right
Tell me which one of them will be you tonight
Which one of them will be you tonight
When You Come Back to Me Again
On a prayer, in a song
I hear your voice and it keeps me hanging on
Raining down, against the wind
I’m reaching out ‘til we reach the circle’s end
When you come back to me again
When you come back to me again
