you wonder why the christian right drives me crazy, there it is. glad we're single issue voters. glad we don't care about the poor. glad we feel badly about killing unborn babies, but if someone gets killed because they happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time in iraq, well oppsy. that's just the cost of spreading freedom.

i appreciate posts like this. it helps me to realize i'm not alone in this fucked up world.

i like this post as well... (took me awhile to comment though, sorry) The Christian right... well Rachel said it about them.

My favorite quote that describes most American Christians: "i promise i will concern myself with the poor, just as long as i'm completely comfortable first." Seriously.. thats the way we are, including myself sometimes. To truly care for our global neighbors is apparently too much to ask for. You'd think that the overbearing media would impact people, but not enough i guess.
