Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I almost immediately had some elements of this story but figuring out how to deal with the Araris issue was difficult until I realized I could use that issue as a tool. Sorry I was so incredibly late on this. I sort of signed up in spite of my better judgment knowing I would be swamped with work for the last part of my credentialing program. But it is not like there is a lot of a Alera fic out there and really appreciate you running this exchange.

I am so sorry about taking so long to reply to this.

I love this fic. I was gleeing over it when I first got it, and I still glee over it. The fact that you made use of her relationship with Araris instead of handwaving it made this amazing. It's rare to find a story that handles the loss of a canon-love well.

Also, delicious rough, frenzied sex. *fans herself* Five paragraphs and a fade-to-black equivalent, but it still made my cheeks hot.
