Earthquake

Last night we were hit by the third earthquake in two years. But this time it was a rather big one and I got frightened. For the first time "Mother Earth" managed to change my sleeping position against my will ( Read more... )

Wasn't so mild with 5,4 ... those the last two years were, but this one made me a big frightened ...

Wasnt that mild ... Such a quake in Turkey or Iran and we would have had quite a number of victims ...

I know Miss Scientist ... :)

But an earthquake under that plant and closer to the surface could be a big problem. Maybe that problem is even more severe in Japan or so, but anyway that French plant "across the river" is prone to "problems".

Why is a waterpower plant dangerous?

Just a pity that the bob guys get better and better, and they hardly fall off anymore ;)

Hmmm, why I'm too soft? I just told someone from Karelia "to fuck the shut off", because I don't want to hear that blabla anymore ;)

why should waterpower be dangerous? we use it in our mountains for over 100 years and nothing ever happened?

i have no reason to go to karelia now. alone the visa thing and russian tourism policy pisses me off. and if i want such landscape i can go to places which are easier reachable for me.

and yes i still think off the lady sometimes. but i guess everybody with some kind of heart and feelings would do so.

so sorry for being soft
