I understand the downsides of it. The place I work at is owned by a man who is from Greece. This week he has been deciding which things to raise prices on, this is so he can keep the 5 other people that work there.

Then I understand that I have loans that have to be payed back starting in August and need to make more money somewhere.

Is it true that Mississippi doesn't have a min wage?

minimum wage is a federal law, some states go above the federal minimum.

The Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007 is the current federal minimum wage law of the United States. It was signed into law on May 25, 2007 as a rider to the U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Care, Katrina Recovery, and Iraq Accountability Appropriations Act, 2007. The act raises the federal minimum wage in 3 increments: to $5.85 per hour 60 days after enactment (July 24, 2007), to $6.55 per hour 12 months after that (July 24, 2008), and finally to $7.25 per hour 12 months after that (July 24, 2009).
