Where did this week go? I can't believe it is Thursday already. I am pretty much caught up at work, but home is something entirely different. I have so many projects going on that I am having trouble finishing them - distractability seems to be the biggest ADD issue I have, LOL. Speaking of that, I have cut myself back to only a morning dose of my meds. The afternoons seem to be much smoother when my day starts out in the right direction, and it's MUCH easier to sleep well when I have not had that afternoon dose. I have Kami completely off it for the summer. Her final report card (or what amounts to a Kindergarten report card) showed incredible improvements in the areas that were a problem at the beginning of this year. No more "needs improvements" and up to "Excellents" in many areas. Upon seeing it both my mother and MIL were like "Oh - you were right! It did help!" *Facepalm*.
As though this whole adventure had been some kind of experimental half-assed, psychological bandwagon of what's-cool-today learning strategies or something that I was embarking on. /rant.

Last weekend nuttykat and I procured and placed several dozen concrete landscape bricks. Brad and I went and used our giftcards at the local nursery and brought home tons of fun stuff to plant. This weekend will be all about finishing that planting and getting the hundreds of pounds of river stones out of the back of his truck. :) The parcel out of town that they lease was river bottom in the past and it yields these incredible huge stones that we can take. We are going to use these to surround the little water feature I am making in the front yard.

Ryan comes back from NJ on Sunday - and it is about time. I hate having him gone. He's ready to come home and I wonder if he will even decide he wants to go next year? He actually misses his little sister which is saying something, LOL. The way those two go at it you would swear they were mortal enemies, but have something happen or someone do something to one of them and the other is right there defending them.

What else - Oh, while we were at the farm piece yesterday, Brad told me that the gravel company buying that parcel wants someone to "farm-manage" the areas that aren't being dug (so they can comply with environmental law) and they want Brad to do it. Which means that the lease will be either exactly what it is now or possibly less, and that would give Brad control of the whole area, not just the parcel they use now. This means we can relax on the haste to find more property and is a huge sigh of relief.

Gotta get back to work.
