Injury Update

Oct 07, 2013 15:57

- Lars and Sven Bender are both out
- Reus is also out
- Westermann has been nominated again to compensate

(That means Westermann's going to be the oldest one there, right?)

So...BJ...uh...yeah...

That awkward moment where I remember I promised to try to track down and translate Hummels' possibly-only-borderline-bitchy-but-wouldn't-we-like-to-know-for-certain-interview but totally forgot?

Yeah...

I'll get on that after work...

I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!

nah it's cool someone on Tumblr translated it. It isn't nearly as ~*dramatic*~ as other interviews, I am certain but he really did stick his foot in it at the end with the "core Bayern" as far as I am concerned.

I will be really, really shocked if he plays on these WCQ's. Maybe not so much because of the interview itself as he hasn't seemed... happy?? lately.

He's also not...in form. Hate to say it. But with Per back we are a different team. Of course Hummels is "better" but you can't just stick "better" players together and hope for the best. They have to fit...have chemistry...etc...

Sometimes one that is incredibly solid and can read the game better will do better - which Per has. He totally deserves to start and he's been AMAZING for Arsenal. I marvel at him. He's NEVER in the wrong place.

And he's scoring headers! Assisted by the man in the icon!

(They have a new - though it is a revival of an old one - bromance. 'Tis very sweet)

Ayup. Per absolutely deserves to be on the squad which clearly means Benni should be in too because both papas have to watch their bb Draxler who I GUARANTEE YOU will be playing

TBH I think Dortmund are going to have an interesting year, to say the least. They're good - don't get me wrong!!! But I think hitting the CL final last year may or may not have played with them psychologically. Of course, I'm not so sure that Bayern's going to be as dominant either...

Mats is definitely struggling, at least mentally. I'm not really sure what to draw from that at the moment though.
