Has Jogi considered sending the injured/recovering players to Lourdes before flying to Brazil? :p We desperately need Lahm, Neuer, Schweini, and Khedira at their best.

I wish Westermann was on the plane too, though Durm didn't seem fazed yesterday. Then again, he wasn't facing CR7 or Aguero, etc.

Apparently choosing Zieler over ter Stegen has something to do with the mood and atmosphere in the group. Zieler will be happy about going to Brazil, sitting on the bench and being third keeper behind Neuer and Weidenfeller, while ter Stegen (and also Leno) would've wanted to play.

That being said, I don't know this for sure. I just heard it on a Bundesliga pod I listen to, but I think it sounds likely.
