So, just chillin here at the hopital.  She has been ok'ed to leave the ICU.  We are just waiting for another room since the hospital is completely full.  The next surgery will happen on monday.  So, that means I will have to drive farther to get back to Iowa since it will be from Utah most likely

I'm sorry you're stuck there - but I'm glad they're going to do the other hip - it would have been quite awful for her to end up in worse shape than when she arrived!

I know what you mean about nurses - I was my parents caregiver when my Mom donated a kidney to my Dad - and he was a real SOB to the nurses.. and to the kitchen staff too - it was not a pretty picture.

You would think anyone knows to be nice to the ones bringing you food. They have all been on me about why I am not going into nursing or going to med school.

I feel for you though to have two to take care of, that would make me cry and that's difficult to do, even if some have succeeded.
