It appears that the RIAA doesn't want people playing songs on the radio anymore.

Funny, it used to be that the record industry "paid" the radio stations to play songs. Granted that is payola, and is illegal but let's be honest it still goes on to this day. Not to mention "Showola", which is how do you think the Edge can do Edgefest every year with the biggest and hottest acts? "Play our rinky-dink concert, and we'll give you more spins on the radio"

This shit however is just....Amazing at the gall of it. I hope the rasio industry strikes back and says "FUCK YOU, we're not playing *ANY* major label artist" and gives independent/minor label acts more radio play. I assure you the music will be just as good if not better.

Coldplay was on The Daily Show last night. They have the #1 album in the country right now, AND THEY SUCKED ASSLAST NIGHT. So if this is the beginning of the end of massive corporate radio, I welcome it with open arms.
