yeah, i was looking at the engine room and the hanger bay and going "well, that's it for the secondary hull... hope they don't mind sleepin' real close in the saucer" :) i'd go see it again right now if i could. and it's only by sheer force of will, and figuring that they'll be watching their new hot property's presence online Very Closely, that i'm not downloading a copy. oh, and what did you think of their version of the original theme as the end credits?

As to the End Credits version of the Alexander Courage theme? Outstanding! Very old school orchestral feel!
In fact, the composer (Michael Giaccono, I believe is the name) was also the guy who scored The Incredibles and the Speed Racer movie. He seems to have a really deft hand with rejuvenating old themes and making them awesome. And he tends to use a full orchestra and work in analog - recording the orchestra from live mics and such. (At least that's how he did it in The Incredibles.

This is the "launch" music from when they're getting the Enterprise ready to go to actual Warp Speed. (Or to Sulu's "Did you leave the parking brake on?" moment. ^_^)

Anyone who did not tear up during this scene, well they just have a black hole for a soul and there's nothing you can do for them.
This is what I was talking about in regards to heartstrings being pulled.
