by golly i guess me be a limey bastard! but comeon, the dolls vs the stones? thats not fair. Bowie and pop? you cant compare them. bowie recorded, wrote, and produced some of iggy's stuff. iggy did some backup vocals for low. Bowie also released "tonight" which was covers of earlier iggy songs. but that doesnt mean you pit them against each other. they are both of different scales and genres in my opinion. and the beatles vs the beach boys? beatles left a legacy that lasted longer than a few shitty records released within one decade. be fair when you pit bands against each other. they should have the same amount of record sales, be very similiar stylewise, etc.

sorry. im a rock and roll historian.

They were chosen solely from what country they originated in. Iggy is the American Bowie. The Beachboys are the only fair pick from America to pit against The Beatles. They were made difficult on purpose! THIS IS WAR!

Anyways, why are you moving?!?!? We can no longer get drunk and sing folk songs. : (

Word. However, one should not be so biased to pick stricly As, merely because one is actually British. Let's be fair, my dear.

oh no no, while subconsciously that may have been the reason, i found myself veering towards the a's.. other than the beatles, who probably are better, but i cant stand anymore because of living in liverpool and putting up with beatlemania for far too long. im one of those britons who wants to get the hell out to the u s of a instead as soon as possible. x
