It seems that "certain people" in my life do not understand what the word "friendship" really means.

I'll tell you the truth, just due to exposure, I may have lost the true meaning for a while, and for that, if I have offended anyone, I apologize.

Honestly, I have to stand up and applaud your rant! Especially on "what a true relationship" is. I had to learn the hard way but it made me much wiser now. Where the hell has everyones standards gone? Why do people settle for less then what they are worth when they could have more if they just go out and try? Are people just lazy or seriously have that low of self-esteem? People piss me off when they settle for someone that they wish to change. Stick with them hoping that they are their Saviour riding in to save their life! Then oops I am pregnant and the guy turns into a loser-jerk who isn't supportive emotionally, physically, or finanically and the girl wonders why! Well my dear that is how he always was. Now society is left footing the bill. OR they get married and the both of them look at the other in hopes of changing them and end up in divorce court a year later!
Ok... I better get off my soapbox now!
