So last summer I came into possession of a 4 year old untrained quarter horse.  I have been  working with him off and on over the last year and have him mostly halter broke.  Last summer I had a saddle on him a few times and tried to get on once and he spooked and took off bucking and kicking.  After that I kept working with leading and catching.
