I can't sleep. So, therefore, I shall write. This is not part of the Tarot series, which will hopefully continue soon. It is however, Christian-y stuff. It's actually kind of fuzzy. This is set early-on. Not a first time, but before Avery really enters the equation.

I concur whole heartedly with my collegue. Your work gets better with every post. I've been particularly fond of those outside the tarot arc; you seem to allow yourself much more freedom within the writing. The sophisticated phrasing does not distance the reader; rather, it creates an image and an understanding of the piece that isn't just visual, but also visceral. Every modicum of pain Thomas feels, or Christian feels, is like a punch in the stomach. The words get under your skin and stay there. You're up there with some of the best writers I've known in fandom, girlie. I hope one day I can express myself as profoundly as you've been doing.

Might help if I actually started writing St. Michael's (or anything at all), eh?
