So FedEx laid me and 13 people off earlier today. This is not good. This is bad. I prayed this wouldn't happen.

i find at times like these that there's really no right thing to say, but i wish you the best of luck finding a suitable replacement quickly.

Holy shit! Apply for unemployment, you're entitled to it. Layoffs = you're rightly due unemployment money and you should take it.
