Surfing.

And...I'm trained to hunt vampires.

I have never attempted to surf.

By choice or by circumstance? You are the second to insist that vampires exist. Are they common in your world?

It's fun, once you get the hang of it.

Circumstance. And yeah, they are. But the general populace is unaware due to several factors.

[ Fun? What is this fun you speak of. ]

As we are currently stationed on a ship, I do not believe I will have a chance to find out.

Of what factors do you speak?

I like listening to music, personally.

I, as well. I am particularly fond of the Vulcan lute. Do you have a preference?

Not really; I think almost every form of music has some value in it. It's an interesting form of expression.

It is also a method to unite others and calm immoderate natures. I must confess, however, that I am not fond of certain genres of Earth music.

Hobbies? Do you mean like the Digimon card game?

If that is your hobby, then yes, it would qualify. This is the first I have heard of the Digimon card game. Perhaps you can explain it.

All of my friends at home played it, but I don't know if I would call it a hobby exactly. Because a lot of it became real.

But I guess what I draw becomes real too, sometimes.

I quite enjoyed swordplay. It was "improper" for a woman to handle a sword though, so I was made to do other things to occupy my time. Like needlepoint. [She shakes her head in disgust.]

On a very similar note the fighting in my homeland is done with swords and bows. I am not sure how I differentiate. Perhaps my speed can set me apart. Of the men I have fought, I have noticed I am faster. I suppose the lighter sword helps.
