Happy Birthday to my beloved puzzld1!!!

Last night, we tried the game Dominion. It was fairly easy to learn, although we took a little while to grasp how they were using the "Discard" pile and the "Deck." Drexel's President Constantine Papadakis (Taki for short) died on Sunday from complications from lung cancer. He had taken a leave of absence on Friday, but apparently it was too late. He had been President of Drexel for 13 years and had presided over the acquisition of the medical school where I work. He did a lot to put Drexel on the map. An ( Read more... )

I just got home from seeing the midnight premiere of Watchman. I was totally blown away by the movie and very satisfied with the adaptation. It was freaking awesome!!!

I'm having a bout of synchronicity regarding New Orleans:

1) Top Chef just had part one of the finale in Nw Orleans and showed lots of footage of places that I recognized, plus Emeril was the guest judge.
